In this newspaper article, written by Kenny Young, the writer claims that a UFO crashing in Montana has led to the capture of an extra-terrestrial. Right now, claims the writer, he is being held in an incubator in California and people (no one in particular is specified) are trying to teach the creature to read and write as they would a small child. A few of the non-surviving passengers aboard the UFO when it crashed were dissected, revealing the only main differences in their anatomy and ours is that their bone structure is heavier and that they have smaller stomachs. Joseph Rohrer, president of the Pikes Peak broadcasting company, reveals that he was in a saucer very similar to the ones that crashed. He claims that he was taken to Venus by the creatures where he was examined. Some people view him as crazy, however, the article states, “Venus, with its cloud covering, is one of the most likely planets in the solar system to support life, but there are twenty-two other known solar systems which have satellites similar to the Earth’s” (Young 3).
This article is obviously written by someone with bias on the subject. He is claiming that an extra-terrestrial is being held in an incubator in California, without the government knowing or doing anything about it. Joseph Rohrer, on the other hand, isn’t much more sane. His claim is that he was abducted by aliens and went to Venus, a planet with poisonous gas and acid rain with temperatures exceeding livable for humans. It may be livable for something not from Earth, but a human would die almost instantly. Also, it would take two years for a spacecraft to make it to Venus and back when traveling at the speed of light with Venus and Earth as close as they get while in orbit.
